The only prefect love is from Our Lord Jesus -- the only way to be completed in love is to be found in Him. I have overcome the fear of my heart over the language struggle that I might face in taking a Bible course. By faith I signed up for this year’s Tung Ling Chinese Bible School.

By the grace of God, I managed to attend classes in the morning then work after classes followed by serving in God’s ministry. I was a little stressed by all the burdens and workload. But the joy of the Lord is my strength, and the satisfaction that I gained through what I learnt made it all worth while.

The interesting courses that Tung Ling offered not only moulded my character in the ministry, but also guided me how to use the talents that God has given me, and allowed me to see the blueprint of the plan my Master has for my life. Even though I understood that God has a plan for us before the earth was formed, being unequipped with knowledge I was unable to live out the plan that He had for me. But after being taught and equipped in Tung Ling, hence gaining better understanding, I am now able to use my gifts to benefit others better. We can use all the spiritual gifts given to us to glorify God and to help us grow stronger spiritually.

During one of the classes I was deeply encouraged by Lai Mei Ling, a teacher. She said, “Don’t overuse your talent, and not overcome your weakness.”

I’m full of passion and on fire in faith. Romans 4:20 says, “He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.”

I am deeply thankful for the encouragement, support and prayers of my classmates and teachers! We, the students of Tung Ling Chinese Bible School, year 2007, will not only remember that God CAN do great things, but believe that He has already DONE great wonders. Amen!
