Annual Messengers Conference IPOH, May 26 – 28, 2008.
More than 200 Baptists gathered in Ipoh to attend
the 55th
Annual
Messengers Conference. Representing CBC were Senior Pastor Richard, Pat
Toh, Sue Ng, Siew Hui, and
Loke Chee Kwong. Over the 3
days, various pastors and missionaries shared their ministries. Ps.
Richard
presented the Migrant work among the Myanmar
people in Malaysia.
As the cyclone Nargis had just devastated the Irrawaddy
Delta, he appealed to the messengers to render support and contribute
generously. The Malaysia
Baptist Convention later donated USD18,750 to build a school in
one of
the
affected villages.
