In 2007, the Lord
greatly showed His love for me in areas unthinkable.
I have been taught by My precious Heavenly Father who made it possible
for me to go through where many had failed. Jesus has strengthened me
and will continue to do so to the end of age. The faith and wisdom of
God is immeasurable, and when I choose to walk and pattern after Jesus,
peace comes.
24/10/07 -11p.m.
I put a pot of red beans in the night to boil for morning breakfast. I
went upstairs to read the Word, planning to turn off the fire when I
get my cup of water downstairs before I sleep. Instead, I totally
forgot the pot of red bean soup and went straight to sleep. I woke up
at 5.00 a.m., had my devotion, and went downstairs to get a cup of
water. To my astonishment, the fire was still on and none of my family
members knew about it. Amazingly, there was no burnt smell. Quickly, I
turned off the fire and poured the contentes into another pot. Yes, the
red bean was burnt at the bottom, but it had no burnt smell. This is
the best ‘tong sui’ I have tasted, the bean was soft and smooth and the
aroma was superb! This is supernatural. Above all, He protected us. I
don't know about you, but I get excited everyday of the wonders that
God is showing in my life. All glory to God!!
27/11/07 - Tuesday
First, I want to thank God and my spouse for providing me a new car – a
Honda City. This morning I sent my car for the first 1,000km check. God
made this divine appointment available because there, I met a friend
who had earlier part of the year, poured her heart to me regarding her
son. Her son had dropped out from school in the first term of 2006
after completing his PMR. He had mixed with the wrong friends who
influenced him in the wrong way. I asked if I could pray for her and
she accepted. I continued to pray for him whenever the Holy Spirit
reminded me.
The opportunity came for me to ask how her son doing. She told me her son was beaten by his best of friends. A Police report was made. Now, he comes back home after work. I want to give God all the glory that He is doing abundantly, exceedingly, above all that I ask or think. The meeting at the car service centre was God’s divine appointment for me to confirm He answers prayers.
December 2007. Celebration of Hope
I have learnt not to go against my husband’s wishes when it comes to
religious activities to be held in my home. However, my name was given
as a host for the Celebration of Hope. I have always desired to have my
house open to fellowship so I did not protest. Meanwhile, I began
listing out names to invite and pray. When the package was handed to me
on a Sunday, I got no boldness to approach my spouse, and I didn’t have
the peace in my heart. I had faith in God but I needed to know the
right timing.
I made up my mind that I will hand the package to my shepherd at Tuesday's Prayer meeting. On Tuesday, 4.30 a.m., I was so wide awake that I could not go back to sleep, so I prayed and asked the Lord what He wants to talk to me about. He led me to read Philippians and the wonderful part was Phlippians has only four chapters. God spoke to my through Philippians 1:19-21 and 25, Phil 4:4-7, 11, 13, and 19. Immediately, I thanked the Lord for He knew my thoughts and I was at peace. I obeyed Him and boldly asked my husband for permission that Tuesday morning. He agreed. All glory be to God.
2008
15th February – Friday
Between 3-6 am, thieves broke into our house, took the spare car keys
and stole two of our cars – one Mercedes and my new Honda City. Too
shocked for words, I didn’t understand and yet, the Lord told me to
testify. What to testify? Cars stolen! What kind of testimony can I
give? I asked the Lord to give me the word. Revelations 12:11, “And
they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their
testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” The
Lord
reminded my of my brother’s thanksgiving dinner where Pastor Reynold
asked a question. What is thanksgiving? 2Thessalonians 5:16-18,
“Rejoice always; pray without
ceasing; in everything give thanks,
for
this is the will of God in
Christ Jesus for you.”
Yes, Lord I will testify and fulfill your will.
In the afternoon, the Income Tax department wrote to inform me of a reimbursment and the cheque will be delivered in 2 weeks’ time. Surprised, I asked my daughter to read the letter again. This was awesome, after exiting from the secular world for 11 years, who can imagine such a surprise?
16th February
The cheque arrived not 2 weeks later but today, just the day after.
Hallelujah!! My God is an Amazing and Awesome God.
I thank the Lord, for the protection and safety He has given us. None of us were hurt during the theft and we slept soundly.
18 February – MondayAs I talked to God, the devil(spirit) laughed at me by falling right into his trap, when I could have taken control of myself. I began to pray in tongues, clapped and laughed in the Lord’s presence.
On the next day while I was doing house cleaning, I saw a new pair
of 
men's shoes. My
husband said he bought for his son. Then there was
another same pair but of a different size. They must be hiis. Then
there was another pair, red in colour. Without asking, I took to try on
and it fit perfectly. I thank my husband but this time my spirit just
rose up. There were many other occasions when he bought me perfume,
jewellery and clothing, but this time it was just overwhelming.
Thursday, 28 February
My husband drove home in his new Mercedes. As usual, I thank the Lord
for His providence and went to sleep. At 1 a.m., my son woke me up to
inform me that the police came, to request us to go to Sg Buloh Police
Station because my Honda City has been found in Damansara Damai.
Hallelujah!!
To God be the Glory, the car was in good condition. Isn't He Wonderful and Almighty? Christ is indeed our hope of glory. We serve an Amazing God!
