Beng Teong facilitating a session for
Book 2 participants
What are the differences between
the Sept 07 and April 08 trips
to Yangon?
There is a better connection with the class now that they
know you better and you know them better. It makes the class easier to
teach.
There is a greater eagerness to learn as they came despite
the eve of the long holidays (for the Water Festival.)
The extra free day helps to facilitate small group
connections over meals
What impact did you see MLM
training has on the participants?
Some are now aware of the Christian role to impact the
marketplace by standing out as a leader.
Understanding that effective leaders need to be trained and
developed.
Are there any significant
connections made during this trip?
Yes, especially with the business leaders.
What are the needs of the
Myanmmar Christians that you see,
which we Malaysians can pray for and even help?
To think beyond their ethnic groups and greater coming
together of Myanmmar Christian leaders from all denominations. Right
now the Christian churches are very ethnic based.
That the Myanmmar Christian leaders will stand together to
pray for their nation and be convinced that the nation needs good godly
leaders whether in the churches or marketplace.
You visited the children’s
home. What are your impressions for
this group of children?
It is always a pleasure to see well behaved and well brought
up children and
these children were a delight.
Each time I see young children I always pray that they will
be raised to be godly man and woman that will impact their generation.
Can you relate some lighter
moments during the trip that brings a
smile to you when you recall?
When you travel with Senior Pastor there will always be
lighter moments!
