CBC members rolled in before 4 p.m. to fill seats in the huge
auditorium of
Wisma Eagles, Subang Jaya, to celebrate the church’s 33rd
Anniversary. Although it was not a full turnout from the six centers
(because
there were quite a number who lost their way!) those who attended were
charged
up by the vibrant praise and worship, led by the Subang Worship Team.
Some
Subang members had painstakingly prepared a refreshing video showing
the
beginnings of CBC up until today. This was a light and humorous version
which
was much appreciated seeing it was an afternoon event! Well done,
Subang.
The message (summarized in
‘Pastor Speaks’) was delivered by our
Senior Pastor, Richard Toh, and translated into Mandarin by Brother
Loong. We
are thankful to the Lord for seeing CBC through 33 years, despite our
ups and
downs. Many members will testify of His faithfulness and wondrous
provision. We
are truly blessed!
