Dear Pastor Richard,
Greetings! As we celebrated thanksgiving in recent days, our hearts are full with gratitude of the wonderful love, kindness, support and prayers that you have showered towards us.
Sharing
about the Lim family…..Car
Accident Nov 16: Daniel & Samuel had a vehicle collision accident. It
happened while Daniel was sending Samuel to pre-school. While driving south on
Grandview Road, a green Chevy Cavalier came out from their right and headed
right at them. There was a direct collision. The airbags in Daniel's van was
fully deployed and the other party who happened to be a student from the Forerunner Music Academy student, came out of her vehicle and
apologized for not driving attentively. Daniel did not feel immediate injury but
Samuel was crying in pain. Daniel carried Samuel immediately out of his safety
belt and gave him a hug until he could ascertain what happened. Daniel prayed
for the other two people involved in the accident. When
Daniel was satisfied that Samuel was not severely injured and could respond to
him normally, he decided to send him to school as usual. The front portion of
the van was damage (lightings, fenders, hood etc.) but the vehicle could still
move. So Daniel drove another mile and dropped off Samuel at School.
Subsequently, Daniel made the relevant insurance and police reports. The
Insurance adjuster told Daniel the van was not covered for collision and he had
to contact the Insurer of the party that hit his vehicle. Daniel could not
drive the van because the airbags have been deployed and he was unsure what to
do except to wait for the Insurance to call. God is good! He protected all
parties involved from severe injuries. Vehicles were damage but lives were far
more important. We continue to seek God that He will help us in this process.
Meanwhile, Daniel rented a small vehicle for the family use. He went on that day
to Chair the International Department meeting and undertook responsibility in
the Bible School.
An Award from Myanmar…..
In October, 2006, Levi was awarded the Person of the Year by a Myanmar Non-profit organization for her unique contribution to her country through the Myanmar Bible Project. This award was rarely given to a Christian minister. We did not return in person to accept the award. Levi’s father received this award on her behalf. A renowned seminary in Myanmar has also verbally mentioned their intention of awarding Levi an honorary Doctorate in 2007. We are grateful to Jesus that her ministry is received by her people and her nation. We rejoice and give all glory to our Father and the Holy Spirit who made all things possible in Christ.

Levi and Daniel currently serve and minister at IHOP
