Business by the Book

Biblical Financial Study by Crown Financial Ministries

 

The purpose of the Crown study is to teach people God’s financial principles in order to know Christ more intimately and to be free to serve Him.

 

Small groups studying this module have to read the book “Your Money Counts” by Howard Dayton. Participants are required to spend 15 minutes a day reading and doing homework, memorize relevant scriptures, complete a practical financial exercise and pray.

 

July 2006 saw a pilot group of CBC members coming together every fortnight to study God’s financial principles. We are happy to report there was no absenteeism. The course was completed in early December, and the group will be celebrating with a dinner.

“The Bible says: In the last days, the Lord will transfer wealth from the unrighteous to the righteous (Is.60:5c) This process has to begin with the child of God who understands the purpose of money for the Lord’s work.”

Next Small Group

In January 2007, there will be groups starting so that members from each center can benefit. If you are interested to join Business by the Book, please give your name to the church office. We shall be starting two groups - one for the SS2/Kota Damanasara area, and the other for the Puchong/Subang area. Be prepared to commit to 10 sessions.
